The customer is always right is an excuse for customers to treat employees like s**t.
I do my job, I do it well, regardless of what the customer says. I am an efficient person and get the job done as soon as possible. Though people tend to forget one important thing - I am only one person. Not ten, but ONE. As I am trying to put items back on their right shelves, three people come up to me with questions, all expecting to be answered first. I quickly answer the questions, and customer is snobby with me because I was "too slow".
I try to make sure that all the go-backs are put back on the shelves, while making use that the front-end is cleared of carts and baskets, and yet people accuse of me being lazy, just because I am standing behind a person waiting for them to get out of my way.
The lot is ten times worse, people don't even watch where the hell they are going, and YELL at me as I am trying to push five to six carts back to the front of the store. When you have up to four carts, it is hard to maintain control. With six it is damn near impossible. I have to walk slowly so I don't CRASH into anyone, yet people almost crash into me.
And I'm the bad guy.
My job is alright, when there is few people. But during the goddamn thanksgiving rush people suck. They suck hard.
I'm so happy my day off is today. But tomorrow is going to be a pain.
