[three years ago]
i was running through the forest, running for my life. there was only one thing racing through my head: RUN.
I awoke in a cave, only fleetingly remembering that i was running for my life only yesterday. There was a dull throb in the back of my head; and a stoic serenity about the cave... it was uncanny, i could percieve anything that happened. I knew then that it was about 3 miles long, ended abrubtly with some kind of cliff, and it was uninhabited how do i know this? I focused my eyes and noticed i could see clearer then something happened to me Then i remembered that i had taken somthing from them, something very valuable. I grabbed a bundle near the mouth of the cave and started to unwrap this soft fabric, and when i did, i felt a surge of power course through my arms, and slowly through my entire body.It was a sword, a katana, but it was special. The light outside was getting brighter slowly. Daylight. I can see where i came out. When i reached the mouth of the cave, i noticed another thing, i was on the side of a mountain! probably 300 feet high! how did i get here? I drew the sword slowly, and recognised somthing immediately. The blade was reversed, this is a sakabato I had heard some rumors about this blade; Kirraq, Soul Reaver. Its supposed to be forged by some god or other, it doesn't matter.
I swung it once, and I heard a singing, as it flew gracefully through the air. I noticed another little feture here; there were some words etched into the blade, the facets shone with a brilliant light, reflecting into the cave walls, spelling out the words into a luminescent story:
The way of the sword cannot be explained, rather performed by light.
I stared at the poem glittering silently on that wall confused and quickly snapped back into reality by a quiet sound in that cave, i didn't notice until now that it was a living being; a human, or so i thought. They walked up to me, calm as day, and here i was holding a legendary sword in my hands. "hello there, you seem to not be from here, are you lost?"
