Bio: Nobu was the son of a samurai, renowned for his secret swordstyle, the Kageoni (shadow of the demon). From a young age he was raised to take over his fathers powerful position. However, whenever the young Nobu asked his lord father to teach him the secret of the Kageoni, he refused. Even when Nobu was a full-grown man, his father refused to reveal his secret. On his deathbed, however, dying of an unknown sickness, his father told him the secret. That knowledge has plagued him ever since.
The power of the Kageoni was not in his father at all, but in the sword that was passed on to him. The blade, called Haru, was inhabited by a demon. The demon could possess the owner of the blade, at times, and used its great strength to defeat any opponent in battle. In exchange, however, the host must provide the demon with blood and energy. If the wielder cannot kill anyone to attain this, they must give from their own bodies. The only escape from the sword and it's curse is death. Now Nobu has put his blade to good use, wriggling up through the ranks of the Shinsengumi to preserve his country.
