Background History: Taiki was born to a poor family of nomads. They traveled the lands, selling wears and performing small acts for money. It was an unconventional lifestyle, but Taiki found it to his liking. He learned to sew clothing and dance. It was like something out of a fairytale for him. When they discovered the Sunagakure, they were taken in custody and questioned for days. Eventually, they decided to stay in the village, and managed to persuaded to the KazeKage to let them stay if they enrolled Taiki and Lily into the Ninja Academy.
Taiki loved all of it and trained hard with his sister for a few years. They graduated the Academy together, but they were never meant to last forever. A plague went around the village. Many people became ill and died. Lily was the first to catch the disease. Taiki took care of her the best he could, but soon after his Father took it up as well, and then his Mother. Taiki wasn't a medical expert, but he also had absolutely no money. His family made him promise not to take them to the hospital. They knew they would die. Taiki did his best, but little more than another two months later, they were all dead, leaving Taiki alone in the Sunagakure.
It tore him apart when his family died. He was seen only at the village cemetery. It was months later when he finally appeared before the Kazekage and was assigned to a squad. He was questioned yet again, and it was then he made up his mind to take the position of Kage and make the village what his parents had envisioned it, as well as what he had envisioned it as.
He rose steadily through the ranks, eventually deciding to become a medical ninja, because of the suffering he'd witnessed from Jounin, ANBU, and others who returned from dangerous missions. He was proclaimed a medical ninja genius, almost rivaling the long past Chiryu.
He was a top ANBU leader when the Kazekage finally died of old age. Taiki almost immediatly went to the elder council and asked to become the new Kazekage. He was only twenty-five. After around six months of debates, contests, missions, and various things, Taiki finally got his wish. He became the Kazekage.
Since that promotion, he has worked to improve the medical nin field, the hospitals, and the academy training. He has expanded the ninjas in the village by almost double, and he has high hopes for the future.
