I may only say this once…
No matter how I try to be an individual
No matter how much I tell myself
I do not / will not, miss your body
I lie to you and myself
The truth is I am less
Than I hoped to be
Without our sexual connection
In that, boundaries disappeared
And I was free in a whole new way
So now, listen carefully
These days are no more.
