Beneath the tree?
There stands you,
and also me?
The sun is bright...
The feeling is right..
And there is only you and me.
Don't you see?
Hold my hand and see me smile?
Time for us..just a little while?
Hours pass in a split second for us?
Its not fair, but lets not make a fuss.
Freindly chatting, pleasant veiws?
The world is lucky for me and you.
Me and you, you and me.
Only us, don't you see?
Intertwined and feeling fine.
From duties today, we now resign.
Meet me here, i'll meet you there.
Gently, softly, you whisper you care.
Smile lovingly
But worry in your eyes
You don't want them to take me,
You want me by your side.
You say softly "Just you and me...Don't you see?"
The world can laugh and cry ang hate
It can even try and break our fate.
It can point and glare and rant about,
It can push us away, it can go off and pout.
It can say what it pleases and do what it will
The feelings we share remain firm and still.
You reposition your grip
You say "You're mine..."
I silently agree,
You give me a sigh.
Your grip is tighter,
And love, do you know?
That you don't need to worry...
I won't let go <3
