A story from Jasdero's point of view
((Alright, just a small note, my friend made me this))
"Dero doesn't wanne go!!" I whined, I really didn't want to leave them.
"I don't want to either" Debitto replied, "but we have to, for Mizu."
"And Cat!" yes, we had to. The earl couldn't know, so every week we went home and reported we were still chasing them. We walked into the arc.
"Road! Let us in will ya?" Debitto shouted in the air.
"Nah," her bored voice sounded, "let's play first."
"Road! We don't have the time!" Debitto shouted shaking his fist at the sky.
"Yeah" I backed him up, jumping on his shoulders, "Jasdevi needs to report!"
"Oh, you're boring." Road replied, but before us a door opened.
Debitto pushed me of his shoulders and I fell on the ground, head first. "It hurts" I whined sitting back up. Tears streaming out of my eyes.
"Dero," Debitto bend down, "don't cry..."
I sniffled before nodding "Yes, strong for Cat" I stood up and together with Devi walked through the portal. Road sat there on Lero waiting for us.
"Millenie is in a bad mood today." she stated, nibbling on a lollipop. We shared a glance and gulped.
"Don't pay attention, Road is only joking." the earl said appearing out of the shadows. "Have you disposed of the exorcists yet?" he asked while Road sat down on his shoulder.
"The exorcists are tricky, we can't catch them." Debitto answered. The glasses of the earl flashed dangerously when he hitted his head up.
"B-But Jasdevi will succeed!" I quickly cut in.
"Millenie, can I do it?" Road asked still nibbling on the lollipop.
"No!" we shouted together. Road raised an eyebrow and smiled amused.
"That's our prey!" we screamed.
"Deleto!" Enter Cell Roron and Tyki.
"You should carry out your task Jasdevi, or I might need to give it to Tyki."
"Huh?" Tyki looked up, suddenly involved.
"Deleto!" Cell Roron cried. Tyki rolled his eyes.
"No fair Millenie! I wanted to play with the exorcists."
The earl simply ignored her and gazed at Jasdevi.
"Perhaps we should go..." Debitto said and pulled me along. Just as we were about to step out the arc, Road called us back.
"Oh Twins."
"We're not twins! We're Jasdevi!" we shouted turning back. Road was the only one still present, not even Lero.
She walked closer with an evil grin. Suddenly she pulled me down, tugging at my blond hair.
"Road! Dero's hair!" I shouted with tears.
"Hush! You're acting suspicious, both of you." She gave another tug before disappearing in the shadows.
"Dero's hair." I sniffled. Debitto looked sown at me calmly.
"It's fine Dero." I gazed up at Debitto, the tears drying.
"Really?" he gave a smile and a small nod. "Let's go Jasdero." I jumped up and ran after Devi. I might be seen as dumb sometimes but I realised one thing. If Road found out, then the earl did as well.
We ran through the still sleeping time and back into the inn. Debitto slipped into our own room immediatly but I walked into a dark corridor.
The door I pushed open squeaked softly. I tiptoed to her bed and called her name softly. "Cat?" she shifted and her eyes fluttered open.
"Dero?" she pushed herself up and smiled sleeply at me. "What's wrong?"
I shrugged. "Dero couldn't sleep..." I sat down on the bed beside her. She shuffled a bit asside to give me more room.
"Nightmare?" She asked resting her head on my lap. She looked up, her blue eyes sparkling in the moonlight.
"Something like that." I admitted and stroked some hair out of her face, behind her ears. She frowned before sitting up and wrapping her arms around me.
"It will be fine." She said with a knowing tone in her voice.
"Yes" I hoped so. I rested my head on hers and hugged her close.
I wanted the moment to freeze, so I could hold her forever. I didn't want tomorrow to come. Simply said, I just wanted her to stay...
