The story continues again...

Three

It was Saturday. Ben woke up and quietly dressed himself. He walked to the kitchen, and quickly cooked an omelet. As he ate, he thought about his accidental meeting with Tyler. His mind wandered, then the grandfather clock bagan to ring. Seven o' clock. Ben finished eating, then left to go meet Elaine. She was sitting at the park, listening to the birds. When he quietly approached her, she turned and saw Ben slowly strolling towards the bench. A grin appered upon his cheerful face,
"Good Morning! How are you today?"
"I'm fine, whats up?"
"Not much." They began talking, and at about eight, Elaine's boyfriend, Brett, arrived.
"Well, I have to go," said Elaine, "Bye!" As the two left, Ben heard a rustling, then a *SNAP!* like the sound of a twig. He spun around and stared into the cluster of trees behind him. He heard a giggle, then saw Tyler, smiling from ear to ear. Ben gave him a puzzled look. Tyler then burst into laughter.
"How long have you been there?" Ben asked quietly, shaking his head slightly.
"Since about seven-thirty... I think" It took a lot of effort to keep a semi-serious face, but he just decided to sit and relax. Ben seemed happy to see him, and felt a bit odd when he looked at him.
Tyler sat up. His ears twitched and he made a small whimper. Then he dove back into the bushes. Ben turned, and saw two girls, blond, running towards him. They were twins, but one was wearing glasses and pigtails. The other had long wavy hair and wore a heart-shaped pin on her shirt. They looked around, then ran off in opposite directions. Tyler popped his head up, and saw they were gone. He then jumped back onto the bench.
"Who were they?" asked a curious Ben.
"The Varlyn sisters. They're insane."
"Oh." Ben was unsettled by this thought. They continued for a while, then Tyler had to leave. Ben then went home to help at the cafe. The rest of the day was rather uneventful, and no mishaps with thekitchen gadets occurred.
