i had this dream last night. and i felt like writing it down.

i was on a bus. like a school bus. i don't remember where we were going but the bus stopped. in front of us, in the air, was this creature. a beautiful human with huge leathery wings. i can't remember if it was male or female. this creature was stealing the life power of human souls. it planned on killing us all, but i wouldn't let that happen. i ran to the front of the bus and jumped through the glass window. i opened my own wings and flew up to the creature. all i remember is fighting. we fought, we killed. there was so much destruction. i got so caught up in the battle that i started stealing human souls. so many people were already dead. the creature, seeing me as it's equal, fled. i hovered in this giant building looking down at the massacre. i let myself fall to the ground. i felt the power inside of me weaken. it seeped out of me and lay dead at my feet. a giant puddle of blood. i was confused and then everything changed. it was a carnival. i was older. i had two sons and a daughter in their 20s. how old was i? we walked through and i noticed that the carnival was being held at the same building i was in when i fought all those many years ago. we walked around when the people all of the sudden started screaming. the creature was back. i could feel the anger grow. my wings exploded from my back, and my children did the same too. but the creature also had reinforcements. it was a horrendous battle. everyone was dead. except for me and the creature. my children lay bloodied and mangled on the floor. i looked at the creature, saw how sad and angry it looked. felt just like me. just like how i felt. we were the same. i closed my eyes and woke up.
