sorry if their not that long i just started writing

MY LOVE: Watching the pictures on the tv move and dance,
While i dream about the perfect romance,
Mabe one day my dream will come true,
'Til then all i can do is hide in my shell and pretend im not in love with you.


IF I WERE...:
If i were a bird i would fly far away from here and never return.
If i were a cheetah, i would run far away from here and never return.
If i were a fish, i would swim out to the ocean and never return.
If i were a worm, (dont laugh) i would dig down in the dirt and never. return,

But i am only me... only human, and have to face my fears, even if i never return.



I WISH I WERE A SEASHELL:
I wish i were a seashell so i could lay out on the nice warm beach and listen to the waves roll in and out... in and out... in and out...
I wish i were a seashell so i could feel the warm breeze of the salty ocean air
I wish i were a seashell so i could watch the sun rise and set over the crystal blue ocean
I wish i were a seashell so i wouldnt have to be me... cus the only thing a seashell has to worry about is someone picking them up and taking them away from their beloved ocean...


MY QUEST:
Sitting here,alone,in a cold dark room
waiting, wishing i could talk to you
but you've moved on, and moved away too
people say i should do the same
but all i can think about is your name
and all those silly games we used to play
and how we used to talk all the time

i can hear your voice in my mind,
telling me not to jump, not to cry
not to cut myself one more time

but i know that in the past,
i once dreampt of a true romance
that you and i could be a little more
but then my dream faded, and
all the things i once loved
i found that i now hated

please come and wake me from this dream,
i promise i wont be mean,
i wont be bad, or make you mad,
just take me away from this cold,cold place
i just need to see your face,
hear your laugh,
do the math,

I'm on my bed thinking of all the things we could be,

guess we'll never know 'cus with her your in a daze,

but fornow i'll put on my infamous show,
'til the day comes that she lets you go,
i'll sit on my bed and keep dreaming of the day that you fall into my arms forever...

your touch brings the butterflies,

My diary is filled with things i wish i could be,
how i wish you would love me,
how i wanted to be that girl you dreamed of,
the girl that gives you butterflies,
but today,
i burned the diary,
the diary that confessed my love for you,
that said how much i wanted you,
and how much i cared for you,
but that day is over,
that day has passed,
im over you,
so dont turn back,
because when you do
i wont be there.

everytime the phone rings,
i hope its you,
callin me to say "i love you too"

everytime theres a knock at the door,
i hope its you,
commin over to say "i love you too"

when i walk down the street,
i wait for you, hope, that you will catch my arm and kiss me,
but you never do...

my friends say, stop waiting,
i wonder if their right.
but i see you in my dreams,
and you stop me on the street,
turn me around, and kiss me and say "i love you too"

Emotions on a High:

Tears overflowing,
but emotions never showing.
falling apart,
but appering so put together.

im a master at this show,
more than you could ever know.
i hide my feelings so that noone will see,
what you have done to me.

Rejsected and refused,
after i hand my heart to you,
you've stomped it flat with your shoe.

This is how im repaid,
im broken and falling to peices,
and you've got it made.

Strutting around with that stupid blonde,
i guess on you it never donned,
that i handed my life to you,
and back at me,
it, you threw.

So have your fun,
because the time will come,
that she leaves your side,

I tried a new way to write them, it was kinda hard but i think i did ok with it.

I gaze upon your beautiful brown eyes,
That single glimpse, and I feel my heartbeat rise,

Its such a shame, that you makes me feel this way.
I am forbidden to kiss your soft full lips,
Not allowed to have your strong arms around my hips,
Wishing to be called yours, but knowing it would never come true,
