Many things about this world I do not know. Many more things about this world, I do not want to know. One of the things I wish to know about this world is the creation, life, and death of love. It is not an objective thing, yet it can be personified. It cannot die forever, but is resurrected, renewed. Why do I want to search for it? Why would I want to search for it? What is it? Is it the willingness to die fo another person because they mean something to you? Or is it the ignorance of all their faults in order to be with them? Is it a selfish desire that causes one to love? Why does one love? To be with the one that one loves, to hold them in one's arms, to tell them how much they love them. Mankind is a social animal. No, man is not an animal. Animals have no sense of love other than to protect the next generation. Can we assume then that all love is is an instinctual urge to protect what can survive? Or is there something more? If God created us out of love, then he must have the most of it? Is it something that can be measured? Why does one love? There must be a reason. Is it materialistic? I respect you, I admire this one characteristic, so in exchange I love you. Is this as simplistic as it gets? Or must one love unconditionally because love is blind? Is love blind? If so then it would not matter what the person would look like? But in all reality, is one going to ask why another would love them? Or would they be so excited that someone loves them, that they would ignore all danger signs and love for that fleeting moment only to realize that it was a mirage they were looking at? I want to love. I also want to be loved. What good is pouring time and energy into something that will not render results. So then to love is to expect love back. So then to love is to be selfish as one is expecting something back? What is love?
