You Should Know, Kids: Dreaming Sucks When You're A Writer.
Don't get me wrong, dreams are great. My dreams are often waaaay to vivid for comfort, but I'll get used to it. The thing I won't get used to is dreaming about my characters. Maddy, in particular, is pissing me off. She'll show up in my dreams and scream at me all the freaking time. And I'm never in these dreams. In my last one, she was working (she works at a mental hospital) with her...er...well with Parker, the crazy guy she lives with. He was sitting down and in a straight jacket or something and she says, "You know, Park? You probably wouldn't be so messed up if you worked on your story once in a while. You know, like, it's been a week, HELLO." Then she looks over (like if it'd been a TV show, she would've looked right at the camera) And screams, "DO YOU GET WHAT YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS IS TRYING TO TELL YOU NOW, JULIA?!"
gonk
