STUFF<3
Just a story...
I looked around helplessly as everyone I loved walked away. I wanted to follow, follow them until my feet hurt, but no matter how hard I tried to follow, I just could not move. It was as if my feet had been sewn to the dirt road, doomed to stay there for the rest of my life. All of my friends urged me forward saying things like,Come on! Follow us, follow us until this road ends...or, Why aren't you following? Are we not your greatest friends, comrades? I nodded my head stupidly to agree with my friends that they were indeed my greatest friends, my greatest comrades on the face of this planet, but they just shook their heads in disagreement thinking,If we are such good chaps, then why don't you follow us?
But then a youthful girl on the opposite side of the road who I did not recognize pleaded, "Follow me, instead!" Her expression was peaceful and calm, her face was framed with blonde strands that blew helplessly in the bitter cold wind. Her hair was tied into two long ponytails held together by what seemed like angel wings bound with purple flowers, which were disconnected from the bangs that framed her face. She wore a simple sea green dress with dark blue piping and a matching dark blue lace choker and in her hands was the single loveliest white flower with gold trim. When I looked at her, there seemed to be a glow about her that made her seem angelic and I knew I had to be hallucinating for I saw wings, angel's wings, sprouting from her back.
Again she pleaded for me to follow her instead, but this time my friends argued saying things like, "Who are you to demand him to follow you? She doesn't even know you!" She shook her head sadly and pleaded me with her eyes, those beautiful golden green eyes. I tried to go with my friends again, but I could not go. While when I tried moving in the girl's direction, I moved fast, almost like I was gliding- like we were magnets just destined to be together. She smiled, obviously satisfied that I chose her even though I really had not chosen her in the first place. My friends stared in astonishment at what I had just done, I had just decided to follow a beautiful stranger instead of following them to the end of the path. I understood their pain all too well for I was angry with myself for choosing this girl instead of them. How could I do that?
She talked to me in a voice so sweet, it sounded like music. "Our destinies are intertwined from now on," she said in a dreamy tone, "forever..." We twirled around to face the broad blue ocean and I took one last gulp of air. "Forever,"I agreed and we jumped off the cliff, together...
The End

Adore

There was once a couple made of best friends, a boy and a girl. She loved him, no she adored him, but he was too foolish to see that she worshiped him. He loved another person, a girl who was far inferior to his best friend. The best friends had been friends since the beginning of time, only recently had the girl, Serenity, seemed to have been bothered that her best friend was a boy, actually no doubt about it, the best looking boy at school.
Her friend's name was Danny and he told her everything and likewise with her. She was the first to know his crush and he was the first one to know about her latest band frenzy. They had never kept a secret from each other until now, just because Serenity fell head over heels for Danny. Every time he walked passed her in the hallway and said hello or waved to her, she blushed instead of returning the hi or waving back. He was the first and only person who noticed her change, but he was the only one who didn't know that she secretly adored him.
When they were in their twenties, he got married to his life long crush and Serenity was left out. She smiled at their wedding, but cried at home. For the rest of her life she never got married and she never stopped loving Danny. Serenity couldn't take it any more. Life hurt her more than anyone could tell. She decided once and for all that she would leave, leave the place where all her pain came from-Danny. He was her one weak spot, the only person who knew just how to hurt her. He was her best friend as well as being her sorrow.
On her last day in the same town as Danny she left a letter in Danny's pocket, in the pocket of his jacket that he hadn't worn in a very long time, his jacket from high school. In fact it was his favorite jacket from high school that he would never toss. She knew he wouldn't, well of course she knew everything about him, she also knew that he would check the pockets before tossing it, but wouldn't check the pockets in along time. On the letter in spidery handwriting she had wrote:
My dear, dear Danny,
You care so much about me, yet you don't. So loving, and yet so mean to not realize my love for you. Your hugs make me feel protected. Loved.Comforted. And yet your hugs sting, just to know that I couldn't have you. That you loved someone else and, I just wanna be yours.
Even if you are not mine I hope to be forever yours.
Loved and adored by yours truly,
Serenity </3

20 years later...
A tired middle- aged man walked through the doors with the wind and snow blowing, twirling around him as two teenagers ran up to him and hugged him tightly, securely. He smiled and laughed gently. It was another long day at the office and yet these two simple beings brought him so much happiness. They were his only two joys. They were twins and their mother had died giving birth, so they never knew their mom.
The kids dispersed from him and he walked up the lonely hallway to his plain room. For some reason he had this urge to pull out his old high school jacket. His shadow loomed over his closet as he opened his closet and pulled out his heavy black leather bomber. He looked in the pockets and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper that started to yellow at the edges. The edges opened up to him and he read the letter from Serenity, his favorite companion.

He sat there shocked and saddened. So that was what happened to Serenity. He had always thought that Serenity had died, but no. She had left him because he had hurt her. Hours passed and his daughter, Serenity(named after his best friend), walked in. "Dinner's ready,"she whispered.
He stood up and inquired in a dreamy tone, "Did I ever tell you who that girl was in the pictures? The one with black hair and the sad grey eyes?"
"That's my mom isn't it?"
"No."
"Who is it?"
"She's my best friend. My favorite companion. Get your brother and I shall tell you about her."
"OK."
"You were named after her you know."
Danny told his kids everything about Serenity. Their crazy adventures, their secrets, and their thoughts. "I need to find her," finished Danny, "She still loves me and I still love her. I've always loved her. I was just too shy to tell her."

Adore Part 2

"What do you mean, you still love her?" asked Serenity, "Don't you love mom?" Serenity longed to hear the whole story. Why was her mom her mom if her dad loved another girl? Why did she just learn that the sad faced girl in the pictures wasn't her mom? Who is her real mom? Why now? Out of all the times to learn about a new girl, why now?
Danny shrugged lifelessly. "I loved your mom, but not the way I love Serenity. Serenity was someone who understood every emotion, every thought, every part of me. I thought that I could never have Serenity so I made myself fall in love with your mom in a way. I have always loved Serenity, since the first day I met her. Serenity, sad faced and helpless, is the one I will always want."
Serenity stood up from the leather couch and left the room with her twin, Andrew. Andrew hugged Serenity tightly and whispered, "Everything is going to be fine. We never knew our mom, so why are you so upset?"
Serenity shook Andrew off roughly and replied fiercely, "How could you not care that this girl, who I'm supposedly named after, isn't our real mom after we have believed for so long that she is? How can we be sure that Dad is really Dad? Huh? Answer that!" She stormed up the worn wood stairs as Andrew desperately tried to keep up with her.
"Wait for me! I really do care about Mom, but really...What do we know about our mom? Dad has never talked about her. We've never seen a picture of her! We don't even know her name! For crying out loud, we could crash into our mom and not even know it! But if we crashed into this new girl, Serenity, we would know her!" Andrew tried to catch up to his twin, but she quickened her pace. She ran into her room and slammed the door shut. Andrew knocked on the door helplessly and begged her to let him in. Where's Dad at times like this? When Serenity must be moody! wondered Andrew.
Meanwhile Danny was sitting downstairs, pondering the chances of finding his long lost love. My whole life has been about hiding my love for her...Only, if she knew...Only if she knew that I loved her too! Oh, how I wished I had been smart enough to realize that she loved me back! I have to find her, thought Danny. It came down to one thing, who would take care of Andrew and Serenity when he left to find her and how would they react to him just suddenly leaving to find his one true love?
Suddenly Danny stood up and slipped on his leather bomber. He walked towards the door into the snow and off to find his one true love, Serenity Tell. Not once did he think of his children, for he was too absorbed in finding Serenity. The key slid into place as Danny made up his mind to go. And off he went, zooming down the street to the only place Serenity could be, his old house. They spent countless summers at his house doing various things every year. For there was a lake by his house for swimming and countless trails for hiking existed around his house too. But long ago before he got married, he had sold it because he needed the money for an engagement ring...
Danny zoomed down the streets, as the snow poured lifelessly to the ground. Seconds went by slowly, but soon seconds became minutes, which became hours and soon enough, he came to his old house. The lake was frozen over and the trees surrounding the lake seemed to reach toward it, as if they were reaching for the lake. They needed the lake to survive, the way that Danny had needed Serenity before he got married.
Finally, he walked up to the house and knocked on the wooden doors. They swung open as if they were possessed. It freaked him out a tiny bit, but it was alright, for he knew that everything would be fine. The house was frigid and gloomy, but there were traces of Serenity everywhere. Sweet Serenity Tell. Poetry littered the floor, CD's reached for the sky like skyscrapers. A warm smile spread across Danny's face. She's here! She's alive!, thought Danny.
