Lee walked down the white marble halls of the castle, smashing numerous vases along his way. He clenched and unclenched his fists as he did so. Losing to some kid and his two friends made him mad. He stormed up to a mahogany door and kicked it open, spotting the red-streaked black hair of Aniela, who was polishing a crimson-red scythe. She turned her head over her shoulder and smiled,"Well, someone's angry today, arent they?" she teased. Lee gave a low growl,"Silence, Ani. I should let you that I'm in an EXTREMELY foul mood." To prove his point, he took out four of his knives in a burst of light, and held in front of his face. Ani just laughed and went back to polishing.
Lee put his knives away, closed his eyes and sighed,"You know that boy that we lured into the castle? Well, dont underestimate him. Him and his buddies are stronger than they look." he explained. He watched as the girl stood up, her scythe disappearing in a burst of flames. Turning around, she glared at him,"You dont think I know that? Trust me, I watched your fight, and it seemed that you were the one who was weak." Once again, Lee growled. Aniela smiled and laughed,"Well? Do you want me to take care of him? I know that I'm a rank below you, but I'm sure I could do better than you." she taunted and walked to the door.
She stopped midway,"I have a question. Do you know if Jace is done with that experiment of his? I hope it will do us some good." Lee, who was in the middle of silently cursing her, stopped and looked up,"No. I dont know if he's done, and I'm not going all the way down the fifth basement floor just to ask him and those nosebleed lackies of his." He turned around and thought for a moment. If he did go down there, there would only be chaos, and he doubted that the girl would ask them for herself, since she was always angry at something. Turning back around, his expression changed from irritated to calm,"Okay, we'll make a deal. If you take down those buffoons, I'll ask the mage if he's almost done. Deal?" he asked holding out his hand. Aniela sneered at first, but eventually grabbed his hand and shook it.
"Okay, now that that's over, let's see some flames," laughed the girl, summoning her scythe again. Lee just gave a chuckle and smiled,"Have fun," he said, and waved at her. He walked up to the crystal ball that was floating in the middle of the room and peered into it. He watched as the trio went through every door they could find and searched through them, looking for their 'friends. Ha. There were no friends, it was only a trick to lure the leader of the group into their trap. However, it would be a problem if he was to actually make it to the top of the castle like the leader promised he would. That was why all the inhabitants were taking time out of their busy schedules to stop them.
So far, only two have made attempts, himself and another girl, but sadly, there were.....defeated. But, the farther they travel through the the castle, the harder the battles become. Lee backed away from the orb, his expression blank. He sighed,"Well, might as well get the errand over with before Ani has another PMS moment," he said to himself. He watched as a cross-shaped portal appeared before him. All members of the castle had the ability to teleport to other areas by different means. His was a portal, and Ani disappeared in flames. Taking a step forward, Lee smiled and made his way through the light.
