Sounds of my house at night.
Okay, it's about 12:42 where I live as I type this journal entry. All I hear are sounds that would never be heard in the day. My rotty named hannah is snoring as loud as my father. My mother and father are tossing and turning in the bed. I hear what sounds like cats and dogs fighting outside, but I know it isn't what it sounds. I hear myself breathing quietly over the loud typing that fills the silent yet noisy house. I hear the frige trying to keep the temperatures cold for the freezer. I hear the heater restarting itself. I hear my computer trying to stay on. I hear my thoughts of a wonderful dirty blond haired guy who wouldn't give me the light of day at noon. I hear the ringing in my ears. I hear my heart beating loudly in my chest for only me to hear. I hear my foot taping on the chair leg. I hear the chair squeek everytime I move a milimeter. I hear my teeth clink together in in the rhythem of all the different songs I've heard recently. All of these things I couldn't hear above the roar of my normally noisy house. Tonight I experience all of these things for myself. I love my silent yet noisy house at about 12:48 am.
