Launa poked her head up through the cave hole and light cascaded onto her. She blinked happily and noticed her mother wasnt back yet. Morning the mother of Launa and Melk was out hunting for seal and wasnt back yet. Launa worried. the ice seemed thinner than ever and one fall could lead to being lunch to a whale. food was also hard hunt for when your in clear veiw of your prey. Slowly Launa crawls out of her warm den and inches toward the water. Launa yelped in horror as she saw the water blood red and remaining bones of a young polar bear mom being eaten up by the whales. Launa ran. The ice falling from the looming clouds above scratched her eyes but she kept running. Suddenly the ice broke and she fell threw. The water came in huge gulps down her throat and she started sinking loosing consiasness. She stared up at the hole she had just fallen through and saw her mother standing over..moaning to the bear spirits in the sky. and as Launa sunk deeper her veiw was full of blood and her mom being eaten...
