So in case you haven't heard, I'll tell you again: Olive got her tablet! It's a Bamboo Fun Wacom tablet that came with PhotoShop Elements 6 and Corel Painter Essentials 4. I've already made a few things (see
here, unless you are a certain best friend of mine (read: Angel) because there's something there you can't see until it's finished. You won't be disappointed) and I have to say I adore this tablet. It's so wonderful and smooth and natural. Wacom's are the very best.
I got other things for Christmas; books, clothes, lots of jewelry, mantle clock, smelly stuff, and strangely enough I received make up from my aunt. Is she trying to tell me something? Anyway, I went smart this year and went for little things (tablet aside, that was my one big present) so I could get lots of things. I'm greedy xD
My brother, however, went the stupid way, and picked out big expensive things so he only got, like, two things. Gears of War 2 (finally! And I'll tell you, I did NOT expect that to happen with Maria, I was expecting her to be linked to the Locust Queen. Still... GOW2: 1 Olive: 3. I'm winning) and a, well, it's not a replica or anything, but he got the Witchking's sword from Lord of the Rings. It's nice. It's not battle-ready, it's not even full tang, and has a false edge but he's happy with it. He needed a show sword, anyway--one that can't hurt me for once.
The whole Christmas season was good for our family. We had fun times with the family, aside from the aggravating hour and a half when I was trying to play pool and my little cousin kept bothering me because she wanted to play although she doesn't even use a pool cue, and we had some good food. Grandma always has the best food--best ham, best chicken, best potatoes. Everything is better at Grandma's.
Anyway, I think that's all I have to say. Not like it matters; no one reads this thing. Merry-after-Christmas everyone.
