the prom was dullfully boring and absolutely defning as the rap music blared. not one of lillys favorite choices but she didnt care. not even lacy glaring at her from a corner could bring her down. to her this was a ballroom and her prince charming was escorting her around the room, getting her punch and dancing with her, all in all a delightful dream come true. that is, untill she saw the moon. the school had rented almost a castle like setting for the students, it even had a balcony. the moon was hidden quite well so lilly didnt think that it would be a problem when zac led her out onto the balcony. it was the purfect romantic moment lilly ever had. he smiled at her and picked her up, laughing at the shock on her face. she smiled and laughed to as he placed her on the balconys ledge, looking up at her. "well cinderella, how was the ball?" he said flashing a breathtaking smile. lilly smiled down at him. "everything i have dreamed it would be prince charming." she said. at last, the deffining music slowed and became a soft song, the type you can easily sway back and forth to and still call dancing. zac then lifted her up and placed her gently back on her feet, and took her hand and waist, and began to sway back and forth. she smiled again, then closed her eyes and burryied her face in his shoulder, breathing in his smell. with her hyper senses, his colgone tickled her nose, but she took the tingling sinsation as a releif. exactly how she imagined it. it was such a moment that neither of them had realized that they had stopped, and were basically holding eachother. she took her face away from his shoulder and looked up at him again, not yet realizing that the glow that surrounded him was not her imagination, but the moon begining to reapear. he sighed with a huge smile. and leaned down. lilly knew what was happening, and in turn she lifted up her chin and before she knew it, their lips met, and fireworks sounded in her head. his lips were soft against hers, and his touch was gentle as he held her close to him. as they did so, however, a crouching figure in the shadows waw just waiting for the entertaining moment when the moon fully came out. and it did. lilly couldnt understand it, how the pure passion that she was feeling began to change to a strange longing lust for something she couldnt figure out. she wanted him, she always had, but this was not a longing for lust and passion, no. this was indefinately a longing for more than just that. it was a longing for human blood and human flesh. lilly pulled away abruptly, surprising zac. her eyes were frantic as she located the moon. she knew what was happening. lilly was turning. "whats wrong??" asked zac worried. she didnt answer him, as she felt her gum being stressed as her canine teeth began to grow, and her nails began to become that of a wolves. "i have to go." she said looking away. as she was about to leave however, zac grabbed her by her arm. "wait" he said, and as she turned, he gasped. her mouth was partly pryed open because of her teeth and her eyes were a deep menicing red. "what are you?" he asked, now afraid. she didnt answer. instead she began to growl and jump off the balcony, leaving zac watching horrifically as the once shy innocent girl he thought he knew seemed to phase from human to wolf before his very eyes.
