But Nobody Knows
At the dawn of night
With every star and it's twinkling delight
Up comes a goddess who wears no frown
And puts on a black, sparkling gown
There she sits upon star
Her lover: Invisible by day but never afar
His pale, smooth surface for a face
Everything in it's place
In the sky, he starts to rise
Changing from sherbert to drak colored skies
Then he stands upon a stage
And in a song he will engage
The goddess waits for the show to start soon
The song of the quaint, handsome moon
The moon begins to shine a cold light
And illuminates the earth in the dead of night
The moon has started the show
But everyone's asleep, so nobody knows
Expect for the goddess who sits on the star
Her love for him stretched so far
The stars become twinkling sprinkles
Coments fly with tails a tinkle
All the planets jion the show
But everyone's asleep, so nobody knows
But not so far a distance is the sun
And in his hand, there is a gun
Kill! Kill! Must kill the moon
Must kill the moon and do it soon
For the goddess's love he is much to eager
And accidentally pulls the trigger
The bullet jumps into her breast
She falls to the ground, blood at her chest
The sun soars high and begins to flee
And in his heart he starts to plead
That the goddess is not dead
If so his heart will never mend
The sun looked down to see
The moon holding the goddess is crying
The sun stops, his heart filling with dread
Opens his mouth and said,
"Even if I lose my shine
Even if romance runs out of rhyme
I will always love you my goddess, my princess
Beyond my most utter distress"
Not so far from the moon is the sun
And in his hand there is a gun
And for his death he much to eager
And purposely pulls the trigger
Down below the moon cries
And asks the god why the goddess has died
the moon looks up, his heart filled with dread
Opens his mouth and said,
"Even if there are no feelings to feel
My love for you will never heal
I will always love you my goddess, my princess
Even in this horrible crisis"
The goddess lives no longer to watch the show
The goddess has died, but nobody knows
At the dawn of light
And every star and it's twinkling delight
In the sky the moon starts to rise
Changing from sherbert to dark colored skies
He stands on a stage
And in a song he will engage
The moon begins to shine a cold light
And illuminates the earth in the dead of night
The moon has startes the show
But everyone's asleep, so nobody knows
