Today at around 10:35 a.m., third period,
our school had a sudden lockdown.
o.o
(I got the time from the home phone message from our principal, I'm not crazy sheesh...okay I am but bleh. xD )
Our teacher received an email from the office and read it I suppose.
He told us we're having a lockdown and that we should turn off the lights and get under our desks.
Now he didn't tell us why, but we did as he said.
He also told us to remain quiet,
but my Geometry class,
which is as loud as a music concert,
wouldn't be quiet and it pissed me off.
I was thinking, "Yeesh, if you guys don't be quiet something might happen. We all might die if you didn't notice!"

After about ten minutes, crouching in the dark under our desks,
my neck being pained,
the P.A. system administer informed us that the lockdown was over.

Our next period was shortened by five minutes, and I suppose that was one perk.

The best thing was: no one died!

I hope; I haven't heard anything yet.

The reason for the lockdown was this I think, from what I have heard:
A drunk man at a nearby casino/resort had in his possession a gun,
and was headed to our school.
Luckily, authorities handled the situation bravely, secured the area, and caught the runaway criminal.
