Roy yawned loudly as he lifted his body slowly out of his bed. His muscles grew weak, and he flopped back down to the bed. He gave his large cat, Bartholomew, a warm smile and pat on his scruffy little head as he gathered the strength to twist and hoist himself out of his bed. His silky red hair flowed back in the air as he jumped from the bed to the floor. He felt great at first, as he always felt on weekends, but when his feet hit the ground, a ferocious sting rushed up his leg in a hurry, and in no time, it had reached the rest of his body. He fell to his knees, out of breath from the shock. He lay there, stiller than the stillest stone in a garden. What had caused this amazing pain? He struggled to get up. He managed to move his arm about an inch before the terrifying pain struck Roy once again. “Let him go!” A far off voice cried. He saw blonde flowing hair covering sparkling blue eyes on the face of a moody looking boy. He had a crown resting atop his head, and a sword in hand. “But the boy has the power! He is a danger to this world! We must destroy him! But if you insist, let’s just see where this power will go… I will restore him, and rewrite his memory. I will alter time, and…” The voices grew distant as Roy’s eyes snapped open. Was it all really a dream? “Mr. Stillton, meet me after school for detention! You were spacing off again! What is wrong with you?! What don’t you like about Math?!!” Mr. Hobson snapped.
