HEAVEN'S OWN CHAINS

You are mine did you not know?
You are bound in my love forever;
The chains are forged and nothing
Their enduring bonds can sever.

My loves, there is no escape,
I will not let you depart,
For can't you see you also hold
The chains that bind my heart?

Say you don't need ties of blood,
But if you cannot promice this,
Let me produce a cutting knife
And give you mine from my own wrist.
