History: Ryuu Kenshin has one brother named Hayato Kenshin, who is two years older than he is. He has always wanted to be as good as him. When they were in the Academy together Hayato helped Ryuu. Ryuu is a former Third Seat from the 13th Division. His captain was Ukitake Jyuushiro at the time. His brother Hayato and his Captain Urahara Kisuke were banned from Soul Society. No one told him his brother was banned and so he went looking for his brother. Everyone thought he disappeared. He also trained while looking for him. Now he is going to search in the Human World.

Zanpakuto name and abilities: Ryuu's Zanpakuto has two forms one dark and one light Ankoku (Darkness) and Hikari (Light) he can switch between forms whenever he wants. Hikari controls everything light, and Ankoku controls everything dark
