Hall-o-scream
For the people who don't know what hall-o-scream is, it is a theme done a Busch Gardens for Halloween and it is done through out the month of October. Anyways the reason I am boring your minds out about it is, I went on Oct 30, 2008. It was the most scariest but really fun thing I have done. I went with my dear friends Gummby, Sushi, and Sushi's boyfriend. Well, We get inside the park and the first thing we see are people dressed up as demented clowns. That wasn't such a big deal for me. We went onto some roller coasters. One of them had a 90 degree drop. Freakiest thing ever! So we went into 2 of the 5-7 haunted houses. And we learned from these haunted houses that when I get scared and it is the part where you are supposed to scream I start to laugh. Yes. I said laugh. I laugh in hysteria. Hysteria. The first haunted house wasn't that bad. It was actually pretty good. It was called "Taste of Blood" As you are going through it it is set up as a old subway. There were walls that dropped down that had vampires behind them. They are not allowed to touch any one so they get close and just scream at you really. But at the time it is pretty scary. But it wasn't that bad. I could see and I kinda knew where all the people were. The only problem was that I couldn't tell half the time if it was actual people or dolls. They had dolls that looked so life like it was hard to tell. The people there are really good at acting. They have to be to not laugh at all the people that they scared. But anyway, "Taste of Blood" Was pretty much that. People in cages and be hind walls. Not to bad. Outside is an other story. They had darken pathways that were covered in fog and it was hard to see around you. There were people dressed as bushes. I know that doesn't sound creepy but when you are walking by a bush you are not expecting it to jump up and run screaming at you. People were hiding behind trash cans and fake building that they had set up.Half the time if you gave them any reaction they fallowed you. Which in itself is really really creepy. At one point, not sure where we were at, a guy jumped out at Sushi and got next to her when she wasn't paying attention. That man was the only person whom I heard laugh. She cussed at him going "s**t man! s**t!" It was pretty hilarious. There was a part where we went through "zombie country", it wasn't a haunted house, and there was this guy sitting there twitching, well Sushi and her boyfriend got past him with him just sitting there twitching, but as soon as Gummby and I got close he did this really AWESOME thing were he pushed himself off the ground with his legs and his upper body was still limp and then he straightened out and made it seem as if he was going to attack me and Gummby. Gummby flipped and grabbed onto my arm and I thought it was totally awesome! Okay... The other haunted house... It was called "Trapped in the Walls". I hated this one and it is because of this one that I refused to go into anymore haunted houses. Well you get inside the "backyard" and all it really is is a narrow hallway that can only fit two people standing side by side. So Sushi and her boyfriend was in front of me and Gummby. I was behind Her boyfriend and Gummby behind Sushi. Then we get inside house house and it is pitch black for a few seconds and then there is a strobe light I was already freaking and nervous. Then people were popping out of nowhere and screaming and hands coming out of walls and statues were moving. It all started happening so fast and I was so freaked out that I started going into hysteria and then when ever something funny happened I started to laugh. And every time something happened I laughed louder. It was terrible. I had a hold of Sushi's and her boyfriend's coats and pretty much choked them. There was one area where there was a guy sitting on the wall and I saw him but I thought he was a doll but he was real and that freak me out but I was so intense on the guy on the wall that I didn't see a man dressed in black just standing there and I bumped into him. When I saw this I shrieked no and pretty much jumped on Gummby. After we got out I was crying. I got so bad in my hysterics that I cried coming out of the haunted house. But all in all I thought it was fun. I just hope next time I go I can take my boyfriend with me.
