Capote
My review may not be accurate for reasons that will soon be obvious. First, the impersonation of Capote was eerily accurate as to voice an intonation. If you closed your eyes, you would swear it was him. I closed my eyes a lot. I liked Harper Lee, but wish there had been more of her and the criminals were interestingly acted. Unfortunately two hours of Truman Capote talking turned out to be a lot. Also, this movie was slow. Slower than zombies playing monopoly. I did everything I could to slay awake., because I really wanted to see it and like it. Alas, by mid-film, I started falling asleep during the long pauses in the dialog. Truman's whine would awake me and I would be briefly disoriented as I tried to figure out which was dream and which was film. For me, it was disjointed and hard to follow, but with sufficient caffeine, it may make more sense to you. In any case, rent it, don't go to the theater.
