vampire myths

Sunlight does not burn us
what you've heard of is a myth
we can stand out in the sunlight
for it doesn't burn our skin

You can try to burn a vampire
but sunlight just won't do
silver bullets never work-
vampire skin is bullet-proof

the only way to kill a vampire
is to cut off his head
but after you do so, then what's next?
How do you know he's really dead?

A cross will not repel us
holy water is just useless
heed this information mortal
so you will not try to do this

we are vampires, immortal
creatures of the night
if you want to kill us that's fine with me:
but be prepared to lose the fight
