Seraph's Journal of Thought
The journal that portrays my thoughts and beliefs in this world, varying from one thing to the next, as it fits my liking. (Warning: Can potentially have bad language, adult themed topics, personal beliefs, and deeply thought out theories, concern
It seems the reason for humanity is a vague topic for some. I've been pondering this question for a very long time, and have found only a few facts that seem opinionated, but with some understanding seem somewhat true. With these truths I've theorized, it doesn't however, solve the question: Why are we here?

First: It's no use answering that, no one knows. We have no initial, starting purpose. We only make our own purpose and meaning, that way we do have reason to live.

Second: How we live is based on our being. That being is our heart, brain, and body. Our heart being our very soul, our brain being the excellent mind, and our body as the avatar of our true self. Without one, the other two cannot function and we'd deteriorate. For example: Without our mind, the soul would never know its meaning and soon give up, destroying the body. Another would be that if the body failed, the soul would not hold, and the mind would not function without its host intact. The last example, the soul exits from the body, making the mind and body cease instantly for without drive, they will not continue.

Third: It is 'theorized' through religions that how we live determines our path in death. Should we be incompetent or the like, we are sent to Hell. Otherwise, we go to Heaven, or in some cases, reborn anew for redemption, and other ways are considered 'etc.' Of course, no one knows what happens, other than the inevitable sleep, because we cannot contact those who have passed on.

Fourth: In living, we pursue our goals. Goals vary due to personal feelings, but almost all goals consist of a need to be happy, fulfilled, content, etc. Failing such goals include misery, moping, self-doubt, and other nasty stuff. Those who do not have goals or achievements are usually neutral with society, or have become exempt from everyone else, maybe considered as rejects.

Finally: Those who are damaged, deficient, or physically, emotionally, or socially stricken are usually lost or confused or incapable of their own being. There are chances that the person can overcome these setbacks, but there is still the chance the person cannot and would most likely perish. The only way to help is to get the person in reasonable care, usually a hospital or wellness center, possibly an asylum for those who are insane. (I weep for the species)

So we pursue our happiness through the initial purpose we create for ourselves. We adapt to our environment faster than any mythological being. We function as a whole, by ourselves and in society. After we have our time on this plane, we leave in terms of death, after that has yet to have been discovered. Our being is determined solely by our choices. A person cannot change, no matter what happens to them, good or bad. Those who are deemed 'broken' are still given the chances anyone else is given. Those who are broken either develop a need to live or die depending on their story. The reason we live this way, and the reason we live at all is: Incomprehensible.

With all this thought out and put into words I well understand (And to those who I hope understand as well) our basic way of living really has a purpose set out by ourselves and nothing else. (Except in Soviet Russia, they choose everything for you so you don't have to) With that in mind, there's really no explainable force that can alter our ways. (Except for natural disasters that would derive us from our freedoms) So since we choose what we are, it doesn't matter about whether we are different, but that we are different, that is what human is to be. To think and be different from everyone else, that is our natural way, and having ourselves and our possessions and loved ones, that's what living is all about.

Say of the Day: The reason to be, is to be. The reason to live good is up to you.

There's no such thing as innocence,
Only varying levels of guilt
