Hidden Pain
They push you down
They watch you cry
They laugh out loud
You've learned to never ask why
They say:
"If anyone asks, don't tell
You got those bruises
When you tripped and fell"
They sneer at you
You brush away a tear
You shake your head yes
And lie paralyzed by fear
When their anger swells
This is a common routine
You're beaten
Then told not to be heard or seen
You close your eyes
And turn away
Do you know you will die
If here you stay
I suppose the time has come
To say so long
You say you're alright
But we both know you're wrong

i know so many people that do that. I was one of those that got pushed like that.
But i always showed a sensible face, and i always just accepted the pain as part
of me, (that isn't the right thing to do)
but i know how this feels. and it doesn't feel good at all
