*According to the evening news, Mccain went to an OCA (Oregon citizens alliance) meeting back in the day where they were actively advocating anti-gay legislation and there was a speaker in praise of a woman who shot a doctor and was involved in abortion clinic bombings. This was in the 1990's. Why is it okay for McCain to condone anti-choice domestic terrorism, but not okay for Obama to sit on a board with someone who's crimes occured when Obama was 8 years old and who has done his time. No Weatherman related politics were discussed at Obama's board meetings, but McCain said nothing to counter the anti-gay and pro-bombing and shooting rhetoric at the meeting of a hate group at which he attended. he called the pro-terrorist speaker "A fine lady." I'm not getting why there's such a double standard? Mccain was on a board back in the '80's with a pro-eugenics activist and on the '70's with a pro-Aparteid agent. I don't think randomly being on a board with someone means you necessarily agree with them. I do think that attending a meeting of a hate group does.
* Not helping. Seriously: http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/2008/10/07/spl54091_003-thumb-420x847.jpg
