My mother studied French when she was in college. Yesterday, we were having a conversation about songs in other languages, and she brought up the fact that the song "Alouette" is actually about someone plucking the feathers off of a lark.
Alouette, gentil alouette - Lark, nice lark
Alouette, je te plumerai - Lark, I will pluck you
As far as the Je te plumerai le bec/tet/nez/pattes are concerned, that's something like I will pluck your neck/nose/feet/whatever. I can't remember which part is which.
