Vincent scuffed his shoes as they walked along the sidewalk. Tav walked between Vincent and William, he turned to William, then to Vincent. "So... Was there something you wanted to talk about?" Vincent asked. William pulled a cigaret out of her coat pocket. "In good time..." She said lighting the cigaret. Vincent rolled his eyes. Tav kicked a can and stuck his hands in his pockets.

Strobe lights flashed intencely, flashing different colors to the beat of the music. Aiden manuvered through the mesh of people, heads turned as she made her way through. Aidens eyes darted from person to person, "Now... Who will it be..." She mumbled under her breath. Her eyes moved towards the bar."Jack-Pot!" Aiden made her way towards the bar, her tongue ran across the rim of her teeth.

The bartender was putting on a show, flipping and spinning the drinks as he passed them out. Aiden pushed two men out of the way, leaning on the counter before the bartender. "Sake... Dry and sweet." She told him. The bartender smiled and nodded.

The man next to her was looking at her with 'elevator' eyes, checking her out from head to toe. Aiden glanced at him from the corner of her eye, she took her drink from the bartender and turned to the man. "You wanna get out of here?" She smirked, Drinking her sake. The man smiled drunkly and stood up, extending his arm out to her. He smelled heavily of alcohol , but Aiden stil wrapped her arm around his. "Follow me.." She said, her fang like teeth glinting off the flashing lights.

------&/3------

"Hey William...?" Tav asked picking up the can he had been kicking, and threw it in a garbage can. "Yeah?" William said turning to Tav. "Why am I here again? I mean, we've been walking for an hour now and nothings happened..." He said sighing. William smirked " Hold your horses Tavy-Boy... Hold your horses..." Tav huffed and sighed deeper.

Vincent stopped and blinked, turning to a dark alleyway. William and Tav didn't notice and kept on going. Vincent tilted his head"Aiden?" He asked softly, peering down the dark alleyway. Down the alley was Aiden and the man she met in the bar. She had her arms wrapped around him, her face burried into his neck. His eyes lifeless, staring out into the nightsky.

"Aiden?" He said a little louder slowly making his way towards her.
Aiden's eyes snapped open, bright, alarming orange in the meager light. They slid to Vincent's face with a fierce flash, making him flinch. "W-What are..." he began to say but then, he saw the blood trickling over her lips and down the man's neck. He took a step back, shaking slightly. The man began to slide to the ground as Aiden disentangled herself from him, turning away from Vincent's shocked eyes, and wiped blood off of her chin. She turned back to him, her eyes gleaming dangerously, and frowned. "What are you doing here?" She demanded. She looked like a wolf about to pounce on him and tear out his jugular.
Vincent gulped and drew back a little farther, stepping back into the light from the street lamps. "I...I was with William and Tave..." He managed. A look like alarm crossed her brilliant face. "Where are they?!" She snapped. "They...They're gone...." He whispered.
She relaxed a little bit, but her face was still ferral. "So...Now you know." She smirked, swinging her hand to get the blood off of it, splattering it onto the concrete. "You know that I'm...A Vampire."

-------&/3---------

Vincent slowly stepped back, hitting up agenst the alleys narrow walls. His breaths were short and he stood there staring at Aiden. His face was pale and horror struck and his eyes were blank and doe like, trying to take in all that was happening. Vincent swallowed hard and tried to show a shaky smile "I figured you weren't normal, your just to weird" He said laughing breathless, still shaking a little.
Aiden looked down at the drunken meal and then back to the horror struck Vincent. She sighed and took a step toward Vincent "Now sleep like a good idiot boy..." She mumbled as she lunged fowards hitting Vincent hard in the stomach. Vincent coughed up some blood and collapsed unconscious. Aiden caught him before he hit the floor "idiot... why did you have to come..." she whispered.

--------&/3--------

Jericho’s eyes glinted as bright as white steel in the light of the moon as he watched Aiden jump from telephone poles and streetlamps, Vincent’s limp body a heap on her shoulders. The moment she was out of sight, the jumped down into the alleyway and landed on the asphalt with a loud thud, the dumpsters shook. He glared down at the man that had been Aiden’s meal and grimaced. “Pathetic….” He mumbled.
He raised his hand to his mouth and ran his tongue over his fingers, then bent down and pressed his hand over the puncture wounds Aiden had left. A searing sound fizzled out from underneath his fingers and when he removed them, only a small patch of burned skin remained, covering the wounds.
He kicked the man out of his way and started to leave the alleyway when suddenly a large staff was swung at him. He instantly dodged and a fraction of a second his attacker was dangling 3 feet off the ground with Jericho’s hand around their neck. “What the hell do you think you are doing?” He asked, his voice monotone.
Tave squirmed a little in his iron grip. “Looking for Vincent!! Lemme go, dammit!!” he yelped. Jericho frowned and put him down. “He…ran into Aiden. They went back to the Dojo.”
“Heh, Kiddo, go back and make sure your sister isn’t snacking on the moron’s neck.” William said. She had miraculously appeared behind a puff of smoke from her cigar and was leaning against the bricks in the shadows of the alley. Tave nodded and started running down the streets. She waited until he was long gone to take another puff of her cigar and stand up. “Jericho, I can’t believe how immature you are being about this…” She muttered. He glared at her. “ I mean…”
“William. Don’t even start to lecture me about immaturity. I am ten times your age and I’ve seen more than you know. I have seen demons darker than a moonless night and perversions of life so profound, it would make you question the very foundations of the spiritual world and yet…” His eyes flashed as he narrowed them, “ I have never encountered anything like that man…”
William bit down on her cigar. “I know…Nor have I…But do you honestly think that your jealous behavior will make him show his true colors? I for one would rather see his cross put to our use, then at least we can keep an eye on him…” She said, contemplating the smoke that drifted up from her nostrils.
Jericho made an annoyed noise. “Tch…Its not safe, William…I’m warning you now. Vincent is something else. Something darker then most things…Darker than Aiden or you…Darker than…me.”
This last comment made William raise her eyebrow. “Looks like Mr. Badass is having his title threatened.” She smirked.
“Silence. I am no such fool. I will abide by your will for now but know this: If it turns out that we have the slightest suspicion against Vincent, I am going to tear him to shreds.” Jericho growled. He turned away from her and lept high into the air, his coat flapping as he did, landing on one of the nearby rooftops. He glanced back at her once more, yellow eyes like poison, and disappeared into the jungle of rooftops.
William spat her cigar onto the asphalt and crushed it into oblivion beneath her boot. “Heh, I still think you’re just jealous cause Aiden’s got a soft spot for him….” She chuckled.

The faint sound of people arguing drifted into the room of the dojo. Vincent sighed and rolled over, light filtered in slightly through the cracks of the boarded up windows. "Hey" A voice said poking Vincent's cheek " You awake yet?" Vincent moaned "Ugh... It feels like I was punched in the stomach by a body builder..." He said sitting up and turning to Tav, who was sitting next to him. "Well you are somewhat right" Tave laughed. Vincent gave him a confused look and then remembered, he had been with Aiden that night and saw what she was doing... What had happened... What she was...
Vincent was silent. Were they all like that? Tav looked at Vincent and stood up "Okay, well, when ever your ready we'll be down stairs. I think you should maybe have a word with Aiden, but" Tav shrugged and made his way out the door. Vincent nodded.

Tav walked into the kitchen, William and Aiden were sitting at the table drinking tea"So hows the dweeb?" William asked taking a swig of her tea. Tav sat down next to her "He's fine, he's lucky you didn't hit anything to vital Aiden or that would have been a big mistake" Tav said smirking at Aiden. Aiden sneered and took another sip of her tea.
Aiden sighed as she set her tea down, glaring into its greenish surface. "You don't honestly think I would've killed him do you?" She asked, sullen. Tave looked at her curiosly, munching on an onigiri. "Heh, there was a time when you would've." William reminesced. Aiden was silent. The door on one side of the kitchen opened and Jericho walked in, his face providing no more expression than that of a rock.
"Morning, Sunshine." Tave and William both said at once. They looked at each other and laughed, followed by an awkward silence.
Jericho poured himself some tea and drank it all in a matter of seconds. "What is on today's agenda?" he asked bluntly, looking at William.
She leaned back in her chair and finished off her tea, swirling it around a few times before she took the last sip. "Well...Since the incident with Xander and then fact that we have a nube, I should say, more-"
A loud, high pitched screeching sound cut her off and Vincent burst through the doors and fell on the floor flailing about. "Get it off of meeeeee!!!!!!!" He yelped.
Everyone just stared as a black, gelatonous blob wriggled over Vincent's back and arms, morphing and screaching, evading his wild arms.
Tave started to laugh and Aiden's forehead hit the table. William just raised an eyebrow. Jericho: rock. "H-Help!!!" Vincent called again, attempting to grab the little thing from off of his head.
Aiden stood up planted her foot on his face and caught the blob in her hands like it was magnitized tword them. "Aww....Poor little guy was scared..." She said, stroking the blubbery puddle in her hand. Suddenly it wobbled, flew apart into a few black blobs and then snapped back together as the redicuolous looking pitch black fuzzball with flapping wings that had shown them the way to Tave.
"Wow...I'd forgotten about him." William mused, lighting up a cigarette as Aiden held the creature in place. "How is it going with him, Aiden?"
"Well...He is begining to stablize more, but he hasn't found his niche yet, and i still haven't given him a name.." She informed, petting the complacent furball's head...er...back...er...somewhere. It was mainly just a round ball of spikey black with big, hollow uneven eyes and a wicked little mouth from which sprouted two little fangs, and it had batlike wings on it's back.
Jericho looked at it for a moment and then made a small, annoyed sound. "Looks like it has rabies...." He said quietly. Tave nodded, going over and poking at the little thing. "Mabye it was made from all of the animal's that died from it...?" he pondered.
Vincent staggered up off of the floor and desperately pulled himself onto a chair. "It...attached...itself...to my...face..." He wheezed, regaining everyone's confounded stares.
"Wow...It must really like you, Vince!" Aiden said, her bright eyes sliding back to the little monster as she stroked it. Its eyes seemed to close and it made a little rumbling sound as if it where purring. "Well, i better go put him away...." Her eyes flicked to Vincent, a smile on her face. "Do you want to see the rest of them?" she asked, a mischevious tone in her voice.
"Uuuuh....The rest of what??" He asked, cautious of the little beast she was handling.
She smiled so broadly, Vincent saw the gleam of her fangs from beneath the pink of her lips. "Come on!" She chuckled, moving the shininko to her shoulder and grabbing Vincent's hand, dragging him through the door from where Jericho had entered the kitchen.
It had just occured to Vincent that he had never seen the rest of the building as he was being pulled up a large stairwell. "W-wait, um..." He protested mildy. She just laughed and continued to drage him up more flights of stairs. "I keep a whole bunch of these little guys in my room, I'm trying to train them all to be my own personal army." She smiled.
They abruptly halted in front of a black door that looked like the entrance to an office, and Vincent bumped into her.
"Uh, s-sorry!" He said, stepping away from her slightly. She chuckled. "Just don't be mean to them and don't make any suspicious movements." She warned, reaching for the door.
When she pulled it open, Vincent's eyes widened. Aiden's room was like a black hole in the doorway. not a single ray of light came from within it and none seemed to penetrate it. It sent shiversup and down his spine. So this is what vampire's rooms where like?
She grabbed his arm again and dragged him into the darkness. A second later, a red light was flicked on and it bathed the room in a bloody light, illuminating the swirling, writhing shapes that where trapped inside of glass tanks and domes. Vincent nearly tripped over a stuffed bunny that looked more like a voodoo doll than a child's toy, with stitched on eyes and body parts.
"Oops...Sorry, shoulda cleaned..." Aiden giggled, picking it up and throwing on a large messy bed that was filled with dolls and toys of the same, creepy nature.
"Are these....all shininkos??" Vincent asked, puzzling over the morphing black things.
She turned back to him, taking the little blob from her shoulder. "Yup...Poor little things are born from the lost spirits of those who die. They can be born from plants, animals, insects or humans...and in some rare cases, even the life forces of some of the undead who have been revived. I have one of them, but I've never seen another one. Although, I don't know which type this little guy is..." she ticlked the squeaking furball and fished went to a closet in the corner of the room and fished a glass tank from it. "I'll put him in here for a while, until i can train him..." She turned back to Vincent who was transfixed by a slowly oozing black blob that had a purplish shine in the red light.
"That one is called Chiri. She is a shininko born of human souls who died of boredom or lost the vigor of life. She was one of my first so she is very well trained." She walked over and tapped the glass. The blob slowly but effeciently formed into a creature that resembled a cat with rabbit ears and feet. Vincent hated to admit it, but it was kinda cute. Its eyes looked unimpressed, bored even and it had the same shifty, maliciousness as the one Aiden had just put inside of the glass tank.
Aiden's eyes looked like glowing spheres of blood as she looked at Vincent's interested expression. "Hey.... Do you want her?"
Vincent blinked "R-really?" Aiden nodded. This was weird...To Vincent, Aiden didnt seem her usual self, she seemed... Different, It was weird and creepy. Aiden reached into the tank gently picking up the black blob, she held it in her hands gently stroking it. "Be nice for the dufus, okay." She wispered as she handed it to Vincent. "Now.." Aiden said smiling, a smile that made Vincent get a cold chill every time she used it. It was scary as hell yet somewhat attractive. "Get the hell out of my room...!" She said pointing towards the door. Vincent nodded quickly afraid that he might have something sharp and pointy hurled at him if he didn't get out soon. "Oh! Wait!" Vincent said spinning around."I have a question about last ni-" But he was interupted by a door being slammed in his face. He sighed and turned around "I guess I can ask her later right?" He said talking to the little Chiri blob. Chiri chirped as if she understood what he said.

-------&/3---------

The kitchen was now quiet. Aiden and Vincent were in their rooms while Jericho and Tave were out training with each other. So William sat, alone, drinking a beer. She sighed softly and stood up "Guess I'll go out for a while" She said taking the last guzzle of her beer and setting it on the table. She stood up, grabbed her trench coat off of the chair and made her way out the door.
It had rained a little while before, the sidewalks and roads were wet with puddles dispersed everywhere. The air was still thick and moist, and the sky was a light grey color with what looked to be like a faint rainbow painted across it. William walked along the wet sidewalk, she gripped the opening of her trench coat and pulled it tightly closed around her body. She sighed, lighting a cigarette and taking a long drag of it "I wonder what she's up to...?" William mumbled to her self, letting a ring of smoke wisp out from between her lips."Maybe I'll go'n give her a lil visit..."
--------&/3-----------

Williams boots sank in the soft muddy trail, the trees swayed from side to side and everything had a light wet shimmer to it. The Inari fox statues stood along side the beautiful red and gold gates, the marble steps were splattered with fallen pink and white cherry blossoms. A mixtured smell of spring drifted with the wind. William took out a cigarrett and took a long slow drag, letting the wind take the smoke as it seeped through her soft pink lips. William began trudging up the marble steps towards the large japanese style teien.

--------&/3------------

Jericho's black soviet style trench coat swayed around his legs as he made his way over to the shaking body of the red haired boy who was laying on the mud in front of a tree. "Get up." He said, his voice hard and assertive. Tave's thin arms quaked as he tried to push himself up off the ground, the vein's in his lean muscles clear beneath his pale skin. He breathed raggedly as he worked his way to his knees, blood streaming from his nose and his left eye beginning to swell. "Stand... Up!" Jericho commanded as he swung his bow staff into the boy's ribs. There was a cracking sound and Octavian crumpled to the ground, his breath sickeningly tattered.
The black trench coat fluttered again as Jericho turned away and began walking away from the boy, but then stopped and thought better of it. He walked back to Tave's side and knelt down, grabbing the boy's bloody chin in his steel fingers and pulling him up off the ground so he could see the Octavian's eyes. They fluttered as blood from a cut on his forehead dripped into them. "You weakling... If you want to be with your sister.... If you want to protect her and live with her, you must become strong. You will become strong. But if i think for one second that you are slacking or showing weakness, I will crush your bones into dust and watch you wither away. Do not disappoint me, Octavian." With that, he released the child's head and let it hit the ground. He then disappeared into the fog as it began to rain.
Tave layed there breathing heavily. A tear fell down the side of his face, he slammed his fist onto the muddy ground. "Damn it...!" Octavian's bright ruddy orange eyes shut and he took a moment to calm himself down, waiting for his heartbeat to slow and his breathing to stabilize again. Then, concentrating, he flattened his palms to the ground and took a very deep, prolonged breath. The lush wet moss beneath his paling hands began to turn a sickly shades of whites and browns, shriveling and crinkling into a black withered patch of spiky dead leaves. Black seemed to seep out from beneath the boy's body as he laid there and continued to breathe in a paced, quiet manner, inhaling the vigor of the beautiful greenery around him. After a moment, the petals of a glorious magnolia in its full spring splendor started to snow down around him as if wedding guests were throwing rice in some dismal celebration. The milky petals of the tree turned tawny as they fell to the ground and the healthy gray-brown of the tree's trunk began to seep into a deathly black.
Bright ruddy orange eyes opened again and Octavian sat up, wiping the blood from his face with his hands, and then wiping his hands on the yellowed petals that surrounded him. "I need to.... Be strong...." He whispered as a petal fell into his red hair. "I need to be strong for Aiden."
-------&/3-------
William stood before a large beautiful white and gold temple. Outside underneath a blooming cherry blossom tree was a woman with long purple hair that whisped and curled around her curvy body. She layed in the fresh green grass

------</3-------
Vincent layed on his bed staring up at the blank white ceiling. He sighed long and slow stroking the small black blob who lay on his chest. "hmmm its quite... I wonder where everyone is.." He sat up disturbing the sleeping Chiri and looked out the window. '"its starting to get dark out... I wonder if she's gonna..." Vincents face lost some color when he thought of that night. He snapped out of it and rubbed his neck. "Come on Chiri lets go" he said standing up, Chiri chirped and climbed up on his shoulder.
Aiden

He said, his voice hard and assertive.

Octavian's bright ruddy orange eyes shut and he took a moment to calm himself down, waiting for his heartbeat to slow and his breathing to stabilize again.
