dance is my life. i would be nothing if i couldnt dance. i have been dancing since i was 8, and as soon as i started i was addicted. i do flat ballet, pointe, lyrical, i have had a tiny bit of tap and Hawaiian. i have for a long time been fighting with myself trying to decide if i want to become a professional dancer. idk what i will do. i want to be a dancer, but i also want to be an artist, photographer, and i would like to publish a manga. wow this is way off subject......lolz! *coughs* ahem. anyways, on to the actual blog part.
wow...can you believe the summer is almost over? everyone is getting ready to go back to school(except me, since i never officially was on summer break....-.- i havent done any SW for like a month and a half tho lol), getting new clothes, prepairing for fall, getting back into hobbies and stuff(sports, karate, things like that), and as for me, getting ready to get back into dance! i have to wash all my dancewear, get back into putting my hair in a bun(my hair is so short it takes like a gazillion bobby pins to get it to stay), i need to work on getting back into shape and getting back to being flexible. i am soooo out of pracitce! but i have been staying up till midnight or later everynight watching the olympics, and when i do i have been sitting on the floor stretching. hopefully it is helping. it better since my legs have been sore lately....lawls! i also have been working on being able to do full splits. i am like an inch and a half off the ground. hopefully i will be able to do it by the time class starts. i have also been working on my grand jetes and pirouettes. i have also been working on pointe. i am not suppose to be away from the barre yet, but i have been doing arabesques, piques, and chaines. hopefully i dont kill myself in the process...ahem. anywho, here is a link to a ballet dictionary, cuz i know that unless you are a dancer yourself you have no idea what i am talking about.
