i won... like in my grade school times... i was in a contest in school... it was a quiz bee plus essay plus extemporaneous speaking contest... 3 in 1... it was one of my favorite subjects though, Filipino... I was in a group with three other guys from the different levels in high school and gladly our group passed the first round, the quiz bee... we were on the essay writing, that was part two of the contest... now since our group got passed the first round, we have to go against each other in the writing contest... well the teacher showed us an editorial cartoon of some sort, giving us only 10 minutes to write and think... imagine that?? but thankfully i made it... blaugh ... then she got our written pieces, and called on the judges to.. judge them... xd ... and then there was the extemporaneous speaking after... surprisingly i wasn't the nervous at all... eek xd ... well then the awarding came.. for the best in writing and the quiz bee... (they didn't include the speaking contest for some reason.. sweatdrop ) and there was the school directress, the principal and my teachers... They announced the winners... I could feel the 'too much sweating and trembling of knees' that time.. xd ... guess i'm not used to these kind of things anymore... since it was way back grade school, the last time i won a quiz bee...and i'm a bit glad... they handed me two gold medals.. (i got the writing and the quiz bee, both first places) and there!! xd it was fun.. made me time travel back to my past... i missed joining those kind of things... it was fun.. and i hope my dad becomes happy when he sees the two medals with certificates.. sweatdrop

	xd oh well.. guess what? i didn't study.. xd well.. i'm not really used to the "i'm proud of you line" sorry if i take it awkwardly.. it just that.. well even when i was in grade school.. they never told me that.. xd 'cept for my mom...

	well.. i dunno.. maybe... maybe we're just the same.. most of the time.. i always have a hard time expressing myself towards him.. and others... well.. he's probably feeling the same way.. like i couldn't tell him i was glad to have him as a dad even though he's tough... maybe this is what they call 'the father's tough love' i dunno.. really... sweatdrop

	I think it's because you're a guy... and he is too.. are you following me? 'cause a mom is really different from a dad because she's more naggy and annoying.. all because she knows how to show her love more.. It may seem really hard, but give him hints... if you can't say it directly, like if he comes home with a good deal from work, smile or congratulate him 3nodding I think small things like that could make a difference with your relationship because a mere smile is already a symbol of acceptance, right? =)

	well.. yeah.. i know there is a big difference between a dad and mom.. the dad is sort of a symbol of courage strength and toughness... the mom is a symbol of parental love, comfort, and all those other things.. well... i guess i'll try to do what you said... thanks..

	i have been sober since school started!!! gonk i haven't taken any liquor in... oh... except for my teacher's birthday!!!! xd i took just one shot of matador... just one... and since there was no shot glass i drank from the bottle cap!!! that's such a small amount!!!!! gonk i'm obviously not drunk.. rolleyes
