needle in a box of knives

is dangerous and deadly
and the result
may not be satisfactory
some love is like finding a
rose in a box of silk
the search
is relaxing and easy
and the result
is worth everyrhing
other love is like finding a
lump of salt in a box of knives
the search
is painful and full of hurt
and the result
makes it hurt more
my heart bleeds
like the knives
but it's worth it
like the rose
some parts of my search were easy
like the silk
other parts made the pain grow
like the salt
and one part
was like the needle
does that make my search
trying to find a salty rose
with a needle stalk
in a box
of silk wrapped knives?
possibly
even so
my search
is not over
