First day of grade 10 today! It was only homeroom though, and it was only about 30 minutes long, and in the afternoon. Anywho, I got there about two hours earlier to meet Amy and Frank. After we met up, I picked out my locker. I loaded it up with some Ctrl+Alt+Delete comics and three extra-pretty interpretations of The Seven Deadly Sins (Vanity, Envy, and Avarice. I gave Lust to Amy) mrgreen I also put in my mirror, a Final Fantasy X-2 picture, and my "Mello Kitty" magnet. Everyone thinks I'm crazy because I already have stuff in my locker. gonk

It's pretty, dammit.

I got my courses!

Block A - Science 10 - Annas
Amy's in this class! Yay! And the teacher is supposed to be nice too. biggrin

Block B - Planning 10 - Thorburn
Planning's supposed to be icky. Never heard of the teacher before.

Block C - French 10 - Perreten
I hear Perreten isn't a very nice lady. I plan to be quiet in this class. Barbara's there though. mrgreen

Block D - Visual Arts 10: Drawing and Painting - Lawrence
I don't know who else is in this class, but Amy might switch to it. She signed up for the wrong art class. sad Mr. Lawrence is my homeroom teacher. A tad scary, but nice and a good teacher.

Block E - Mathematics 10 - Purvis
I don't know who Purvis is, but I don't think I've hear good things about her/him. I don't like math either way.

Block F - English 10 - Chow
No English Enriched? gonk Apparently, nobody seems to have English Enriched. Weird, but whatever. I don't know who Chow is. Tori is in this class. mrgreen

Block G - Physical Education 10 - Waller
Like... everyone I know is in this class. Amy's there. Gym is the best class to have a good friend in. mrgreen Waller was my teacher from last year. Meh.

Block H - Social Studies 10 Enriched - Clutchey
Okay, here's the odd thing. I had honours classes for both English and S.S. and I wanted to drop Social Studies Enriched. I ended up dropping English enriched and keeping S.S. Enriched. The hell? Oh, well. I know some people there, and Mrs. Clutchey is the teacher! If you don't get her mad, she's really, really nice. mrgreen

So, overall, things look good to me. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. biggrin

After school, Amy and I went to Frank's house. I also met Raquel and her little brother, the former more than the latter. We had this freaking awesome cake. It was so good. And we met Frank's chubby cat, named Mouse. xp Lazy little thing she is, but adorable. We went out for pizza afterwards and ate it outside my elementary school. There were bees there. It was freaking scary. But the pizza was good.

After that, I got home, and as soon as I put my backpack down, my hip started hurting. Like, a lot. It hurts to walk, and I can't bend over or twist around at all. Luckily, I have my soft pillow with me, and it's starting to feel better. I don't want anything to ruin my first real day of grade 10. gonk

Well, Frank let me borrow Parasite Eve. I plan to play it sometime tonight, but I also have to prepare my binders and stuff for tomorrow. I also have to work on D&D stuff. Eek, I might not get to play much, and I also want to play some Xenosaga II.

I have a new reason to beat the game:

To attain this double tech, "Dancing Rondo," you have to beat the game and defeat the hardest optional boss, or so I heard. Dammit, it's worth it to see about 10 seconds of chaos and KOS-MOS dancing. Yeah, I used to be a huge fan of their imaginary relationship. gonk

They were so cute during their total of five minutes of direct contact. heart

Well, time to go type up some monster stats. mrgreen
