I'm writing this in a blog and thought I may as well post it here ^-^
The princess walked quickly down the hall, as quickly as her satin slippers would allow and reached the balcony in moments.
She panted, "Forgive me father, I can only walk so fast..." The king held up his hand to silence her.
"Luciana," The princess bowed in response, "The time to release the army has come..." Princess Luciana's head snapped up and she prepared to argue but the king once again held up his hand.
"It is the perfect time to strike, daughter. My army is at the peak of it's power and thirsty for the blood of my kingdom's enemies. And if I were not too strike now, I would become cowardly in the future and not execute the attack. No...the time is now!" The king raised his arms and outside, thousands of roars were heard.
Princess Luciana stepped up to the balcony beside her father and surveyed the army below, "How many soldiers?"
"50,000 of the best men in my kingdom of Aerok," the king signaled to the captain of the army, Captain Beroque, to begin the march. Several horns were sounded and the army began to march west. "Soon, Luciana, the entire Western continent shall be under my control..." he laughed and turned from the balcony, walking down the long hall to feast.
"Yes...father," Luciana whispered. She remained on the balcony and watched the soldiers fade into the setting sun, praying something would stop the Army of Aerok.
