we stayed 3 days or so at Loggerhead (marina) we left and we reached the ocean around 7:00 pm. The way from Floridia to the Bahamas by sea goes through the gulfstream, and it works the opposite way we were going. sad A usual cross with good weather for a sailboat takes 48 hours and you cant anchor because the water is 600 feet deep. so basically you spend 48 hours with no sleep rocking back and forth with nothing to look at but ocean. eek eek earlier we had stopped to get more diesel for the boat and now when we opened it up, it was gas. (we cant use gas and we dont wanna be stuck in the ocean) so we just kept on motoring at 4 miles an hour stare because we were straight into the wind .
WE LIVED rofl
we did our immigration forums in Grand Bahama Bay and kept going to Port Lucaya (6 more hours)
