The ultima recipe(for the ultima weapon) requires for you to have 13 orichalcum+.
I think there are only seven in the game and you have to use an energy crystal or an energy something to cut the cost of the oricalcum+ in half. Equip your team with lucky lucky and go to the pride lands and attack the Shaman heartless until they drop an energy crystal.

Item Locations:
Orchalcum+ - Chest in Space Paranoids, before the final MCP boss, Chest in Twilgiht Town, Sunset Terrace place, on top of a building, reach it by hopping on top of the train that goes around. The World That Never Was, after the Brink of Despair I think., Complete 100 Acre Woods, Complete Atlantica, Beat the Godess of Fate cup in Olympus Coliseum (you get the fatal crest keyblade there too), and the last one can be obtained for collecting one of every other material in the game. There are a total of 50.
Orichalcum - These are dropped only by the Bulky Vendor. They're the little gachapon machine things. You know they are around when the information bar appears up in the top of the screen. This is where they appear: Land of Dragons - Checkpoint, Beast's Bastle: West Hall, Olympus Coliseum: Cave of the Dead, Halloween Town - Candy Cane Lane, and Agrabah - Bazaar.
Mythril Crystal - Mythril crystals should be pretty easily obtained since you can get them in item boxes in nearly every world in the game. There is also an option to make these in the moogle shop out of a mystery gem, but the mogle level has to be level 8 or higher.
Dense Crystal - These can be obtained in Twilight Town and The World that Never Was as. They drop from the Berserker nobody.
Twilight Crystal - These are dropped from the Sorcerer in the World that Never Was.
Serenity Crystal - These can be obtained from the Assassin in the World that Never Was and also in Twilight Town.
Your moogle has to be able to use energy crystals on S rank recipes.
Then, you should be able to synthesize the Ultima Weapon!
