Celestial Wrap (Orion's Belt) - Being a hardcore FFVII fan, I took the liberty of sneaking the Meteor logo into this item. *hee*
Blade of the New Republic's Tunic & Blade of the Old Empire's Tunic - I designed these tunics to match the Red and Blue Banners in Housing, and the names are a sort of Star Wars homage. "Knights of the Old Republic" and all that.
Kira Kira Earring - "Kira kira" is the Japanese sound effect for something shining (yes, we have sound effects for things that don't make noise), but the name of the earrings is actually a disguised Star Trek: Deep Space Nine reference.
Caroling Sheet Music - I had originally planned to make this item a white piece of paper with gilt edges and some writing, but I changed it into the plain old dingy roll of parchment that it is today because I thought it would be more useful that way. Because it's plain, it can be used as a pirate map, a magic spell scroll, Santa's naughty and nice list, and other such things. Even the plain items have a lot of thought put into them. heart
Blade's Shirt & Blade's Leggings - I had been calling this the "Knight" set but since the chess set was released before this set, we decided to change the name to "Blade" to avoid any confusion with the chess knight. With knights on my mind, I sprinkled a touch of Monty Python's "The Quest for the Holy Grail" into the descriptions. *hee*
Snug Layered Tees - The "GO" on the front is for the old url, go-gaia. ^^ It can double up as the initials for Gaia Online, though.
Drop Dead Gorgeous set, Dead Sexy set, Giant Eyeball masks - You can thank Nightmare1 for these. That user's thread was my inspiration for almost everything I made for the Halloween 2006 commons update. heart Keep those ideas coming!
Jenny's Youthful A-line Dress - I saw some complaints about the random colors in this dress, but I chose the palette very deliberately. I wanted to release an item that matched Gwee. I squee'd the first time I saw someone wearing them together~ ^^
Apocaripped Set - This was inspired by the three Resident Evil movies starring Milla Jovovich. The ripped up tank top and jeans were inspired by Alice's wardrobe in RE2. The scarf and cans are a nod to RE3. The lighter is what Jill ought to have been toting around in RE2 instead of those unreliable matches. *hee* The pipe is in there because there were so many in RE1, plus it's such a good old random zombie smacking handheld. The glasses and other clothing are just to sort of round out the set. :3 I've wanted more tattered clothing to go along with the peasant set for years. The Drop Dead Gorgeous dresses I made for a past Halloween held me over for a bit but they didn't mesh with the peasant set very much, so here we are. heart
Dark Elf's Spider Dagger - Yes, it's an R. A. Salvatore reference. Out of curiosity I picked up a three-books-in-one about Drizzt's early life and I remember a passage about his mum stabbing a newly adopted former rival priestess in the heart with a spider dagger as a trade off for asking their arachnid diety for the grand favor of reanimating Drizzt's dad in order to send the drow-bie off to kill his own son or something like that. It popped into my mind when I was assigned a "dagger for the dark elf faction" and I got permission to make it a spider dagger. I hoped some Salvatore fans might get a kick out of it. ^^
Paw Print Tattoos - These were inspired by avatar art of Moonblossom. XD The artwork was delish, and the tattoos looked so cute and yet naughty riding on her hip that I just had to make these. I made sure to include purple and pink! ^^ Do I get a biscuit?
Curlique Back Tattoos - If you skip over the small words like "and" in the description and write down the first letter of each word you'll get "tramp stamp".
Band Style Eye Patches - Final Fantasy whoredom strikes again. My 2nd favorite character in FFIX wears one of these. heart (My 1st favorite is Freya.)
The gold count in the L33T Gamer item reads 5,012,332. I didn't choose that number at random but did so very deliberately. Do you know why? (Journal comment answers please. Do not PM or profile comment.)
The Cool and Warm Jelloh items are homages to the Ragnarok Online poring monsters. I thought I should pay tribute to Gaia's origins. ^^
The Bard hair was inspired by many different sources, including a Ragnarok Online hair, a manga character named Guileastes (also Juileastes, Guileastos) and a manga character named Chii. The "Bard" name is a nod toward Guileastes. heart
The "aroma" pose of the Bolt Deodorant was color-matched to the Mercury's Moon and Fallen Wish, but I haven't seen anyone combine them. Perhaps it's not a proper thematic match. ; ; (Or peeps think it's oogly... ToT)

And the "glint" earings I caught right away.
