Okay so last Monday was supposed to be my first tennis lesson!
But the page on the internet lied...
So yesterday (Monday) was my real first lesson.
Now, the closest Tennis Lesson area to my house only has a beginner's class for 8-10 year olds. The only class for my age is intermediate to advanced... So I'm in the younger class. Oh well. There are five people other than me in my class at the moment. Christen, Faith (they're cousins), Danielle, Marisa, and one more girl who seems to be the best so far, is left handed, and didn't show up today. So I don't know her name.
And I think the oldest of them is 11... >.<
Our teacher is really nice, and thankfully patient, though I don't know her name....
Practice starts at 8:45 every morning, so it forces me to get more sleep and not sleep in, which I think is good for me. It also gives me plenty of exercise, so I start the day of nicely.
I've been doing good for my first two lessons, though I need to work more on my grip and aim.
Practice makes perfect!
