Outlaw Demon Wails
Outlaw Demon Wails, Kim Harrison. It was okay, as in it was no chore at all to read it and it had some good moments. I guess, I'm worried that this may be about to run off the rails into Mary sue turf, even though it's managed not to yet. I think I'm having a hard time engaging with it emotionally, even though the plot keeps tearing along and I'm not exactly sure how Harrison lost me. I know I started having qualms some time back, but got distracted by the volume before this one. I'll likely keep reading them if they stay on this level, but if they drop, no.
