Seeing how I've officially had at least once class with each of my teachers, I felt it's time to judge them. I don't know half their names yet so I might just put Math teacher or what ever.
Mr. Brown - My math teacher isn't too exciting, that's for sure, but she does explain the problems and does a good job over-all. She reminds me of my 1st semester Math teacher, Mrs. Gonzalo, whom taught almost identically. Nothing all that flashy nor anything new with her. She's a bit boring, but I do take notes and pay attention long enough to get the message. Also, it does give me time to work on my drawing skills.
Mrs. Law - My English teacher, and one with a good heart. In all honesty, I respect all English teachers, probably because I'm an English major. She has a bit of a sense of humor, so I like that, and she's a grammar nazi! That's probably good because I've always wanted to brush up on my grammar skills. Hopefully, she'll have us write stories and essays and all that other good stuff. From what I can tell, that's going to be a major part of this class, and it'll be one I'll enjoy. Is it bas that I actually enjoy writing so much?
Mr. Miller - Physics teacher, and pretty darn effective one too. What surprised me about him was the fact that he was so young looking, and not only that but he was a seemingly very experienced teacher. I'd like to know what made him so easy-going with his students at such a young age. He's very helpful with explanations and is more than happy to go into detail about subjects and questions; my kind of guy. He wasn't too fast or two slow, and he does a good job at what he's doing. So, I'm looking forward to attending his class (ugh, if only it weren't so crowded!).
Mrs. Premo-Hopkins - My philosophy teacher, and she has a funky name. This woman has some spirit to her, I'll give her that. She seems very experienced and takes to discussion very well (she has to, being a philosophy teacher). She's quick to compliment, and she's very helpful when it comes to questions. However, I do wish she'd slow down when we're taking note. That Powerpoint presentation goes by so quickly! Now... if I had a laptop to work with, that'd be no problem (fast typist), but, unfortunately, I only have my pen and bad handwriting. But, I like her class and enjoy the way of thinking she pushes us to adapt into.
Yep, those are my teachers and they're all pretty good. While none of them really match up to Dr. Syms (did he ever ROCK!!), they are pretty good. I'm looking forward to how my opinion of them will change (hopefully for better).
