I. Foxtrot
Curly, brown and thick.
Softly reaching to the forehead, and twining around black frames.
Translucent lens, shielding deep pools of more brown.
Face, painted with a faux-glow of kindness, the illusion almost perfect.
Except for the smile.
Too fake, too inviting, too...contrived.
The eyes twinkling, an insight to the working mind.
This is Aizen.
Shimmering silver, shades of blue.
Strands of blue-silver cascading upon the face.
The narrow, and thin, pale face.
Ending just at the ridge of the sharp nose.
Beneath the peak, two lips.
Stretched back into a demented smile, an intimidating smirk, a grin.
Two slits of black, closed shut, no pupils seen.
This is Gin.
Images of ideals out of reach, arms outstretched, hands grasping, fingers almost touching--
Gone.
The porcelain truth slipped into its shadow and left a thirsting man behind.
Again.
Cries of frustration, carefully stacked boxes of ruse and disguise toppling down.
Crash.
And beneath the man is crushed, left with a minute memory of humanity to cling onto, like a raft.
Amidst a sea of Gods and Monsters.
A thin hand, plunged into the icy waters, pulls the man out of the hungry waters, only to plunge him into a thirsting fire.
Silver smile.
Red flame.
And the grin of a fox, leering at his weary form.
But, never failing to uphold the illusion, the Hound keeps a placid smile upon his lips, and greets the Fox politely.
"How do you do?"
Enemies from the start.
Murder on the mind, but a quaint and charming air of etiquette to go about it.
"How do you do?"
The Fox mimics the Hound, smiling, still, fingers splayed, wrist flicking, hand...waving.
The hunt is on.
And the Fox watches his prey, through closed eyes.
The Hound, curious about the antics of the sleek, silver man, approaches, with the question.
Ideals of his kingdom, inspiring the words.
"Will you?"
With no hesitation the smile widens, and then a curt nod.
Thin hand brushes hair from the eyes, and they..
Widen.
Red.
Is seen, briefly, before, the curtains of eyelash and eyelid have fallen again.
"Yes."
And the deal with the Devil-Hound has been struck.
Howl to the moon, and hunt for the prey.
((A GinxAizen drabble, I wrote out, because I was bored...and felt like writing. biggrin Enjoy?))
