I have another poem! yay! so, not much else to say now so i'll just let you read it! Here's "Broken Angel"

Broken Angel

Your face is the only one I see
Do I not see my evil deed?
My heart trickles out like sand
Each and every time I hold your hand
Yes, I do want you so badly
Yet you still look at her sadly
I don't want this to be the last day
But, dear, I must get out of the way
It's getting so bad that I can't look at my reflection
Because my mirror recreates everything but perfection
Only an angel can save me now
Send me one, Lord, one who knows how
To fix these dark wounds with the power of light
Yet whose wings are splashed with the color of night
I need an angel whose face is forlorn
Send me a broken angel, Lord, whose wings are torn
For that is the only angel who will understand
Who will give me hope and hold out his hand
And will show me that there is a better day
Because he has lived through all of this, and knows what to say
I imagine him now, with his beautiful face
His ordinary clothes, his ongoing grace
So send me, dear Lord, one who will stop this slope
A broken angel who will fill me with hope
