Preface
I stood there scared stiff. Red eyes, blood red. He was slowly creeping forward. I was waiting for it to end. I was hurting him and I knew it.
Traitor tears escaped my eyes.
He was right by me now, I began so shake insanely. His lips were soon at my neck. I was ready for it all to end at that very moment at least. I wouldn’t make him worry anymore.
Chapter One
“Daaad” I groaned.
We were getting into the car to drive to the airport. We were moving, again. This time we were moving back to my dad’s home town. It was a little town in Washington. This is where I would soon loose my mind! “ I was just making friends.” I was whining now.
“I know Bells but you’ll make new ones,” my Dad said. Yeah right. I thought we were in California for 6 months and I was only just making friends.
I pouted the entire forty-five minute drive to LAX airport. I was starting to make friends, I was enjoying high school life. I also like Garden Grove! Moving to Garden Grove from a small town in Colorado was a big change for me. I had never been one to fit in with people so I didn’t have many friends there.
Tears soon started to flood down my cheek. I turned away from my dad so he wouldn’t see. To my dismay he noticed. He reached over to pat me on the shoulder but I shook his hand off.
Ever since my mother had died when I was in seventh grade we moved constantly. He could never hold a job. My dad promised no more moving after we got to Forks. I’m sure this was because he ha friends from Forks. Most of these people were from his high school times. But he kept in touch with them. We also spent almost every summer in Forks. I wasn’t surprised when he decided to move he. I had been expecting to move here for about a year now.
