Through my eyes you see the shame,
locked up pain that still remains.
So you think you can see inside my mind,
you probably could if you just took a little time.
I know exactly what you're trying to say,
but things don't always turn out that way.
So you think you can comprehend,
everything racing around inside my head.
Twisted little mind games of yours,
nothings around here to see anymore.
Hollowed out shells of fore more life found,
everything is now falling down around.
Four walls once my security inside me,
now a cage to never set my poor soul free.
Everything I want and need held aside,
never thought I'd have a reason to reside.
Seeing through all the threats I ignored,
I know a little more than I did before.
So I won't fear and find a way to hide it,
I can't understand this out stretched fit.
Nightmares in this long lost reality world,
nothing left to realize what I might miss.
