You know, life isn't a world you dreamed up when your were just a child. sad It's actually a harsh land filled with murders, rapes, drugs, and lies (lots and lots of lies). Oh how I missed those days, playing and enjoying life without the slightest care. Beliving and dreaming of a successful future. But as years go by, you learn life isn't a fairy tale. You might not all ways get what you what, or think you deserve better. Well, that's just life! scream You could be born one day, and died the next. Like today, this guy who I now know is my cousin, has been seen around the house. At first I'm thinking. "Wow. Another family member." smile But later, when I was washing the dishes, my mom told me he raped my other cousin, got sent to jail, went on probation, cut the bracelet off and ran! Now we have a wanted fugitive in our house. Knowing my mom, when she tells me something as important as that, she's not kidding like most parents. Now, I can never look at him the same way again. Today has been hard lessons, and as time goes by, it'll only get harder. Knowing this, every time I look at my little siblings, I only hope they don't sufer the same faith as those unfortunate.
