Ha ha ha. I must say, i just finished watching this anime, and it's one of the weirdest/funniest animes i've ever seen. ^_^ It's 13 episodes long and it's about this passive girl, Jiyu Nanohana or nicknamed (Jubei), and how she became the predecessor<_< for the Legendary Yagyu Jubei (a samurai) and is chosen to wear his lovely eye patch. At first she doesn't want to, she keeps talking about how she wants to be a regular teenage girl. But she keeps getting thrown into situations where she has to wear the lovely eye patch and fight the people that challenge her. Koinosuke is my favorite, he's the assistant or servant of Yagyu Jubei and was told to bring the eye patch to Jiyu. But everyone in the show keeps treating him like crap. And i was pissed about that lol. In the end he finally dies after 300 years or something. SPOILER ATTACK! O_O I didn't like that, he should have lived on with Jiyu. I thought they made a pretty good couple. Jiyu was sympathetic towards him when the series was ending, and he did say he loved her (not intimately) but that was sweet ^_^. Plus, he was hot looking lol. So in the show, it's really funny. You got the annoying characters that you wish would just go away during sentimental and serious moments. And you got the other minor characters that were silly. There moments when, you know what's going on but they really don't translate it in conversation. Like you know Jiyu's friend was jealous of the woman that looked like Jiyu's passed mother because she likes Jiyu's father in a weird way. <_O Sometimes the characters were drawn in a goofy way and it was random lol.
