So my girl got her a laptop for her birthday.
I haven't felt well so I haven't messed with it at all - bad mommy - bad!!
Last night I get on it to screw around - and there is SO much pre-loaded crap on there, it's not even funny. So I began the uninstall...and here it is, almost noon and I'm still uninstalling crap.
*sigh*
Whatever happened to the days where you got a computer with an operating system?
No wonder "box" systems are so easily trashed. Too much junk preloaded on them. Had I not been around, my girl would constantly be bombarded with "Do you want to upgrade your free subscription??" and "You have to renew in order to continue" when she booted. eek
Oh, FYI - try something called "CrapCleaner" It's a nice program, simple and easy to use, and free. It wipes your computer for ... well ... crap. XD
