Well, today, Cinco de Mayo (May fifth), was my birthday. Another year, another poke - or a lot of pokes - from my friends. And it was doubly bad, because on Saturday I had a karate test for my blue-green belt. But anyways, my birthday was fun. Soon I'm supposed to go out to dinner with my friends for Chinese food! That should be fun.

Back to the karate test, it was good. I had to spar blind folded. It was okay, but hard. I also found out that I was doing a combination better than my partner, who had been a blue belt longer than me. I was shocked. I think I also did something to my neck or head because I could never slap out quite correctly. It was depressing, because I'm in so much pain right now. But I take Advil. It helps. Otherwise I would never be able to survive school, what with all my pokey friends...

ANYWAY. Thank you to all the Gaians who gave me stuff for my birthday. I do appreciate it. Thank you very much!
